BADMAN MODE

I HATE THIS TOWN. I’M A GENTLEMAN TO EVERYONE I SEE. HOWEVER, THERE’S THIS BADMAN WHO WON’T LEAVE ME ALONE. WE FIGHT EVERY TIME WE CROSS PATHS, AND HE GETS TOUGHER EACH TIME. I NEED TO GO TO THE SHOP. I GUESS I’LL NEED TO FIGHT MY WAY THERE.

Dev notes:

I didn't have the time to add audio  -this is a game jam entry.

If any characters disappear briefly, this is simply itch loading in the assets for the first time, this will only happen once for each character animation. Itch said that all images are preloaded automatically, but this doesn't seem to be the case. This will only happen during your first fight.

The game lacks some balance, avoiding enemy hits can be quite forgiving. The enemy hits quite hard at the moment.

Some of the animation needs work.

I wanted to make a game without an engine using purely web languages. This was designed and built from scratch for the BIGMODE game jam 2023.
